A concert for the Judy Ward scholarship will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church. A free-will offering will be taken for the scholarship given each year by the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Participants will include: Kim Person, David Shuber, Lynda Greve, Michele Thacker, John Drummond, Katherine Murphy, Autumn Jenkins, Richard Callis, Tyrone Hudgins, Isabella Hudgins, Gary Hudgins, Island Praise, and the Gwynn’s Island Baptist Choir.

A pie social will follow in the Moore Memorial Hall.
