Judith M. Hamrick, 70, of Preemption, Illinois, passed away on Oct. 4, 2020 at her home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains will be at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia.
Judith was born on Jan. 1, 1950 in Maine, the daughter of David Louis and Phyllis Theresa (Pomerleau) Lampron. She married Lewis Clyde Hamrick on March 4, in Williamsburg, Virginia. She attended Madam VO’s private school in Roanoke, Virginia. She enjoyed music and painting.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Clyde Hamrick; children, John Terrell Tinsley, Bambi Jo Nicely, Kimberly Dawn Barnett, Matthew Wayne Vaughan; grandchildren, Emily Ann Mayhew, Dylan Chase Barnett, Robert John Barnett, and Tyler Beechamp; siblings, Ann Luka, and David Nathan Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wayne Vaughan; mother, Phyllis Theresa Rakestraw.
