Juanita (Nita) Joyce Jacobson, née Bunting, age 95, passed away at Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida, on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Nita was born on January 3, 1930 in Wicomico, Va., and was a native of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Achilles High School in 1947. Nita was a Human Resources and Plant Manager for Fastron Manufacturing, a hardware manufacturer. Nita was a member of the Moose Lodge and attended New Life of Christ Church. According to Nita’s family, she loved to shop and eat.

Nita is survived by her loving son, Richard Jacobson; a grandson, Shane Jacobson; one brother, Raymond Bunting; one nephew, Stuart Bunting, and one niece, Tanya Bunting Burcham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene R. Jacobson, and a son, Ronald M. Jacobson.
Services and interment will be held at a later date.
