Joyce Ann Smith Cosby of North, was born June 10, 1946. She transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Virginia Lee Smith and Issac Smith Sr., as well as her brother, Issac Smith Jr.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her husband, Roy Cosby; two sons, Darrell and Shawn (Kimberly); one granddaughter, Shanice (Kedric); one great-grandson, Kiyan; one sister, Marguerite S. Brooks (Robert); one brother, Harold Smith, and many other relatives and friends.

The viewing was 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords. The funeral service will be at noon Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the funeral home followed by interment in Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery, North.
