A memorial service for Josephine M. Shook, 87, of Gloucester Point, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 29, in Union Baptist Church, Hayes. She died April 9, 2017.

She was born April 17, 1929 in Wolverine, Michigan. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) R. Shook.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Shook Kane and Jeryl Shook Davis; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

The service will be conducted by Pastor Rodney Autry and Pastor Richard Whiteheart. A reception will follow in Union Hall.
