Joseph Albert Hashberger, 81, of Gloucester, passed away on Dec. 25, 2025.

He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was the son of the late James and Genevieve Saleem Hashberger. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Huntington Ingalls Newport News Shipyard as a tool repairman after many years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Easter Hashberger; daughter, Jennifer Livery; son, Jody Hashberger; sister, Eileen Belanger, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
