A memorial service for Joseph Alan Lambert, of Williamsburg, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

 He was born on Sept. 9, 1986 in San Diego, Calif., and was employed at the Green Leaf Café in Williamsburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joelle Lambert and his grandfather, Richard Lambert.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Alan and Cathy Lambert; brother, Jason Lambert of Waxhaw, N.C., and his grandmothers, Gloria Lambert of Pensacola, Fla. and Jeanne Chaconas of Waxhaw, N.C.

The service was conducted by the Rev. James Cowles.
