JOSE ALBERTO PAGAN

Jose Alberto Pagan, 40, of Gloucester, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lawrence, Mass. Jose served in the United States Navy from 1991-1995. He graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science, and was a member of the first CNU football team.

He was employed by CSC at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, as a Network Senior Professional, and was a faithful member of Bellamy United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Beth Pagan; his children, Josalynne Sophia Pagan and Leonardo Michael Pagan; his parents, Norberto Pagan and Florentina Pagan; sisters, Emely J. Pagan and Jennie M. Pagan; nieces, Ivana I. Pagan, Jazaria S. Montes, Melayni I. Cruz, Ciara I. Grey and Ahomeah N. Perry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Michael H. Kellogg, and sisters-in-law, Flip Grey and Hannah T. Kellogg.

The family received friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 6-7:30 p.m. A worship service celebrating Jose’s life was held on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Bellamy United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo. A burial service followed in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
