Jonathon Neal Hogge, age 31, of Gloucester, died unexpectedly on Sept. 9, 2021. Jonathon was born on April 8, 1990 and following high school, he was taken under the wing of a glass-blowing artist who taught him the delicate skill which quickly became a passion of his, along with landscaping. Maternal grandfather, Jerry Firth; step-grandmother, Jane Timberlake; paternal grandparents, John and Estelle Hogge; uncle, Billy Haynes preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Neal Matthew Hogge (Neal’s mother Christin Owens); parents, Donna M. Haynes (R.B.); father, Donald Ray Hogge (Jamie); brother, Chris Hogge (Nicole); grandmother, Frances Firth; step-siblings, Diana Holt, Lee Haynes, Ray Haynes; aunts, Joyce Ulmschnelder, Penny Hall, Heather Ulmschnelder, Vickie Johnson, Debbie Haynes, Cheryl Haynes, uncles; John Firth, Donnie Cash; nephews, Zach and Julian Hogge. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, beginning 12 p.m. at the Piankatank Community League Building, 11888 Harcum Road, Gloucester, Va. 23061; drinks will be provided; please bring a covered dish to share.
