Hunter and Renee Johnson of Mathews, announce the engagement of their daughter, Madelyn Johnson, to Trevor Keener, son of James and Katina Keener of Gloucester.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mathews High School and the University of Mary Washington with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. Madelyn works at Rappahannock General and Riverside Walter Reed hospitals while pursuing a degree as a nurse practitioner.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Gloucester High School and is the owner of Keeners Electric, LLC.
A destination wedding in Barbados in the Eastern Caribbean is planned for June 2026.
