John T. Dunlevy, age 75, of Glenns, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, after a short battle with lung cancer.

He retired with 32 years of service from the former Chesapeake Corporation and was currently employed with the Middlesex County Maintenance Department.

Johnny was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and their men’s group, and also the Oakley Hunt Club.

Survived by his wife, Martha W. Dunlevy; a son, Dwayne L. Dunlevy (Crystal); a granddaughter, Hunter; sisters, Annie Lee Thomas, Marie Bryant, Jean Dutton, Virginia Kelly and Patricia Jackson.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in New Hope United Methodist Church, Gloucester County. Interment was in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
