John Herbert Hogge, 81, of Gloucester, died April 15, 2015.

He was a retired pipefitter with Chesapeake Corporation (now Rock-Tenn).

He was preceded in death by his son, Herbie Hogge; parents, Eddie and Bessie Hogge; sisters and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Hogge; children, Melody Brooks, Kathy Garris, Ginger Gustafson, Frances Hogge, Kristen Taylor and Shaun Wiant; brother, Fred Hogge; sister, Grace Bernoski, and five grandchildren.

Respecting his wishes, services will be private.
