James Madison University has announced its 2011 fall graduates and dean’s list students. Local students who received degrees at the end of the fall semester were as follows: Paul Arsenovic, Wesley Bailey and Jack Hatch, all of Gloucester; Alexis Raines of Gloucester Point, Madalyn Mitchem of Mathews, and Sarah Ramsey of Mobjack.

Tara Kissinger of Hayes, was named to the fall semester president’s list at JMU, a recognition that requires a grade point average of 3.9 or higher.

The following students were named to the fall semester dean’s list at JMU: Staci Altizer, Rachel Healy, Alana Marsh and Morgan Sadler, all of Gloucester; Katelin Garrison and David Tillage of Hayes, Brenden Rivenbark of Hudgins, Madalyn Mitchem of Mathews, and Laura Bridges of North. The recognition requires a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899.
