Lori Oliver holds down the Middle Peninsula office for JJM Associates, which is headquartered in Richmond and has another office in Virginia Beach.

JJM is a sales agency for lighting fixture managers working on commercial projects. Oliver, whose office is located at 138 Main Street, Suite 108, Mathews, said she assists “architects, engineers, designers, contractors, owners and facility managers in selecting lighting solutions for their venue.”

Oliver said she made a career change after working as a bookkeeper as a single mother with two little boys. She went to night school and started work as an electrician’s helper. She graduated from Thomas Nelson Community College with concentration in electrical disciplines “and went from apprentice to division manager in 20 years.” She opened the Mathews office in 2015.
