If Carole Jett can handle packing and moving two containers weighing more than 35,000 pounds from Buffalo Junction to the Northern Neck, she surely must be comfortable with the everyday details of running a business.
Jett is owner of Jett’s Curtains, Fabrics and Home Décor, located at 15 E. Church Street in Kilmarnock. She came back to her native Northern Neck from Buffalo Junction in November 2019, and now is up and running with a selection of more than 700 rolls of fabric, a “huge selection” of window treatments, and the business of providing original designs, and hanging them for customers who don’t want to do the installation themselves. Other components of the company are comforter sets, bedspreads, Roman shades and pinch-pleated draperies.
