Jessie Willard Lowney, 83, of Gloucester, passed away on May 24, 2015 at his home.

He was a native of Gloucester, and was the son of the late George and Lola Bristow Lowney. He was retired from Grays Lumber Yard, and was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ruth Lowney, and grandson, Christopher Lowney.

He is survived by his children, Shirley Rosell and Salvin Lowney; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 28, 2015, from 1-2 p.m., with funeral services starting at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Church of God Cemetery, Gloucester, Va.
