JESSIE LEE BELCHER

Jessie Lee Belcher, 21, of Gloucester, died Nov. 17, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jessie was a graduate of Gloucester High School and employed with Huntington Ingalls as a welder.

He loved hunting and enjoyed being outdoors. He also liked to work out at the wellness center. Jessie was a beloved young man, with a positive outlook, very kind and always had a great smile. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Ann Hess, and sister, Aimee Marie Busic.

He is survived by father, William “Billy Joe” Belcher; maternal grandmother, Joanne B. Hess; paternal grandmother, Rachael A. Smith; paternal great-grandmother, Alice Christine Braun; step-brother, Jacob Allen Busic; uncle, Larry Belcher and wife Betty; cousin, Andy Belcher, and a host of friends.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Chris Morgan was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at the funeral home.
