Jessie Anne Diggs of Mathews, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James C. Diggs; her son, James A. Diggs; daughter, Judy A. Butler (Frank); granddaughter, Shannon Butler, and sister, Rachel Feldman.

There will be no service and burial is private.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 723 Mathews, Va. 23109 and/or the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
