Jerry was a sports enthusiast and devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, as well as an Oakland Raiders fan.

His father, Jerry Gaddis; sisters, Mae Rosell and Shannon West, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Ann Gaddis Insley; sisters, Elizabeth Curtis (Dave) and Kendra Burland (William), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Carol Bookwalter was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family received friends from 10-11 before the service. Interment will be private at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.

Jerry requested friends to come in casual dress and wear a favorite sports team shirt.
