Jeremy Ryan Cooper, 23, of Newport News, passed away March 25, 2016.

He was born on Aug. 4, 1992 in Newport News, Va. He had a passion for baseball and played with GYB for eight years and attended Gloucester High School. Jeremy was a good-hearted person who loved his family and friends, and really enjoyed life.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, William Cooper and Laurie Blair; brothers, Jason, Brian, and Chris Cooper; maternal grandparents, William and Arlene Spencer, and his dog Max.

A visitation was held Wednesday, March 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave., Newport News.
