Jeremiah fell asleep in death on September 13, 2016 at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. He was 15 weeks old.

Jeremiah is survived by his brother, Joel; sister, Noemí; his parents, David and Julianne; his aunt and uncles; grandparents, Jack, Tempie and Danna, and a host of other family.

While devastated by losing Jeremiah, his family takes comfort in these words: “Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” (Isaiah 26:19) The Bible promises a time when such pain will be a thing of the past.
