Jehovah’s Witnesses campaign gets underway

Jehovah’s Witnesses will kick off a September campaign with local volunteers from Gloucester distributing a special edition of “The Watchtower” magazine with the theme “What Is God’s Kingdom,” according to local spokesman Arthur Davis with the Jehovah Witnesses’ Public Information Department.

The magazine is available in more than 780 languages in print and online.

“I am looking forward to sharing in this campaign, in person, because I want to help people the same way others helped me,” said Alberta Hannigan of Gloucester. “People realize the world is in trouble, we experience sickness, natural disasters, and other problems. God wants us to be happy and his kingdom is the solution.”

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jehovah’s Witnesses distributed millions of the magazine through letters. They have returned to their door-to-door public ministry.
