Jeanette A. Eubank, 94, formerly of West Point, passed away on August 26, 2020 at Essex House. She was born April 27, 1926 in Mathews, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Jennings and Mary Atherton of Cobbs Creek. Jeanette graduated from Mathews High School in 1945. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll C. Eubank. She retired from Chesapeake Corporation and was a volunteer at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester for 18 years.

Jeanette is survived by several cousins, and faithful friends, Susan Jenkins and Dorothy Trimmer. She will be remembered by her contagious sense of humor and zest for life.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 5 at Haynes Cemetery, Mathews. Memorial donations may be made to West Point Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box X, West Point, Va. 23181.
