Jean Pugh, 74, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at her residence in Cobbs Creek, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mason Pugh; her parents, Denville and Anna Marks; a son, Bobby Gene Hubbard Jr., and a sister, Carolyn Smith.

She is survived by four sons, Johnny Davis (Doris) of Tappahannock, Va., D.W. “Hoopy” Davis (Darlene), J.D. Hubbard, and Roger Hubbard (Crystal), all of Mathews, Va.; a brother, James Marks of Florida; a sister, Charlotte Belvin of Gloucester, Va.; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family received friends on Sunday, June 28, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 29, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Chris Morgan officiating. Burial followed in St. Paul Cemetery, Susan, Va.
