Jean Dutton Cesil Mason, 82, of Yorktown and formerly of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Gloucester County, and was the daughter of the late Jessie V. and Inez Horsley Dutton, and was the widow of Charles Cesil and William Mason. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Yorktown.

She was preceded in death also by her brothers, Granville, Wilbur, and Doswell Dutton, and is survived by her daughter, Cindy Marin and her husband David; nieces and nephews, Adelaide Slaymaker, Dorothy Jean Hugate, Nicole Marin, Brenda Daniel, and Tommy Dutton, and her special caretaker, Laura Marin, and her granddog Sam and grandcat Biscuit.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., with a memorial service starting at 11:30. Burial will be in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton.
