JD Simo will perform a mix of traditional blues, Afrobeat, jazz, bluegrass, psych, and other genres beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester.

Simo has mastered every musical genre he’s explored, said a press release, and his remarkable talent and versatility have led to recording sessions with such artists as Beyoncé, Dolly Parton, Jack White, and Chris Isaak. He has shared the stage with the likes of the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh and has collaborated with such artists as BlackBerry Smoke.

Doors to this outdoor show with fire pits open at 5:30 p.m., with the Coastal Thirst food truck serving a wide selection of tacos and sandwiches. If it rains, the concert will be moved inside.

Tickets are $20 online at flatironcrossroads.com. They will be $22 at the door. Children ages 10 and under are free of charge.
