The Woodville Rosenwald School Foundation, in partnership with Flat Iron Crossroads (where the event will be held in Gloucester) will hold a Jazz Day program from 3-6 p.m. Sunday. The foundation hopes to make it an annual event, according to the Rev. E. Randolph Graham. Featured will be Marsha Meekins & Company, with Meekins on flutes, Victor Nelson on vocals, Matthew Steele on bass, Cliff Fuller on keyboard, Brandon Smith on guitar, and Glenn Jones on drums. Individual tickets are set at $75, reserved tables for six $500, and inaugural and annual sponsorships are available. All proceeds support the foundation’s programs, projects and initiatives. If the event sells out inside the building, the foundation is considering the possibility of setting up chairs in the outside area and streaming a live feed, said Graham.
