Jason Niblett joins Hayes Auto Sales staff

Hayes Auto Sales has welcomed a new member to its team.

Jason Niblett should be a familiar face to the people of Gloucester County. Formerly of Auto Max, Niblett first got into the business of car sales in 2001, and worked with his father Danny until the elder Niblett’s death in 2011.

Though new to the staff, Niblett has already become comfortable in this new setting. Owner Keith Rodgers’ energy matches Jason’s. The two get along like old friends, and Jason is aware of it. “Keith reminds me of my dad every day,” said Niblett. “We’re having fun.” What helps Niblett adjust so well is that Hayes Auto Sales is a small family-owned business, an environment he knows very well after working with his family for years.

The new partnership between Niblett and Rodgers aims to be fruitful and long-term. The expressed goal is for Rodgers to leave the dealership to Niblett after his eventual retirement sometime down the road. This would keep the business in local hands, allowing Hayes Auto Sales to maintain its reputation in the community.

Being small helps Hayes Auto Sales keep prices down. Niblett and Hayes Auto Sales want to make sure the prices they offer are the fairest around. Taking care of customer is the most important part of the sale. For Niblett it all stems to a lesson his father taught him: “Do right by others and they’ll do right by you.”

His mission is to have the quality of the car match the quality of the customer’s experience. “Everybody is going to come in as a customer, and they’ll leave as a friend,” said Niblett. This is why lifetime warranties that are offered by other dealerships do not interest Niblett. He sees them as a way to raise costs by providing something the customers don’t need. He prefers to give his customers a lifetime guarantee, that the service and care they receive will remain the same.
