Jarvis named to All-Atlantic First Team

Sharese Jarvis of Cobbs Creek has been named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The sophomore shortstop for Randolph-Macon College is now eligible for All-American honors through the NFCA.

Jarvis, a graduate of Mathews High School, was also named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference First Team. She tied the ODAC single season record and led the conference with 17 home runs and topped the league with 50 RBIs.

Jarvis was also second in the ODAC in runs with 50 and in slugging percentage at .836. She batted .375 with six doubles and a triple while posting an on-base percentage of .442. Jarvis also led the ODAC with 109 assists.

The Yellow Jackets had their most successful season in program history at 34-9 overall and 15-5 in ODAC play.
