On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 3:11 p.m. in Walter Reed Convalescent Center, God called Janie Bell Ferguson of Hallieford, to be with Him.  

Janie was born Feb. 14, 1930 to Turner and Hattie Caldwell of Great Falls, South Carolina. Her husband, Ozie L. Ferguson (Ted), preceded her in death.  

Janie leaves to celebrate her memories a son, Mark Ferguson (Delphia) of Mathews County; step-daughter, Angela Ferguson of Mathews County; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mollie Reed of Forestville, Maryland, and Estelle Felder of Jamaica, New York; a god-daughter, Felicia Felder of Ellenwood, Georgia.  

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 10, 2017, at 12 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cobbs Creek.

Knight Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
