Janet Marie Foster of Mathews entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News.

Janet is survived by her husband, John Foster; three children: Lisa Romero, Monique Green and Howard Pierce, Jr.; two brothers: Vincent Francis and Elmo Herman; two stepchildren: John M. Foster, Jr. and Michelle Ross; five grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal.

Viewing will be on Friday, May 18, 2012, from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins.
