James Walker aka “Simon” or “Shorty,” 88, of Gloucester, died May 16, 2021. He was a native of Lawrenceville, Va., and was a member of Morning Glory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Robinson of Gloucester. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy D. Walker.
Mr. Walker may be viewed on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. in Howard Funeral Home, Ark.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Morning Glory Baptist Church Cemetery.
