JAMES THOMAS PERRIN JR.

James Thomas Perrin Jr., "Deep Freeze," age 84, of Gloucester, died April 15, 2011.

James was a seaman retired from the Merchant Marine. He was a member of The First United Baptist Church, White Marsh.

Deep Freeze enjoyed many hobbies, especially hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the Tri County Hunt Club and the National Rifle Association. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family, and they will deeply miss him.

He is survived by wife, Constance Gregory Perrin; children, Edith Perrin, James T. Perrin III, John Leroy Perrin, Carroll Tyrone Perrin and wife Molly, Ben Franklin Perrin and wife Tammany, Debra P. Conyers and husband Fred, Denise McCray and husband Kevin; sister, Lucy Davis; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. P. D. Wells Jr. will be held at 12 noon Thursday at The First United Baptist Church, White Marsh. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the church.
