James L. Fleming Jr., 65, passed away in the early hours of June 8, 2013 at the Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a brief illness.

He retired to Gloucester in 2010 after being self-employed for over 30 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; daughter, Jo Ann Nelson (Gary) of Mays Landing, N.J.; step-son, Joseph Collins of New Jersey; two grandsons, Justin and Darius; four sisters, one brother, three aunts, three uncles all of New Jersey, and one uncle, Benjamin Handy (Peggy) of Gloucester.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords, followed by a repast at Morning Glory Baptist Church.
