James Kirk Casper, 80, of Williamsburg, Va., Palos Verdes, Cal., and Walla Walla, Wash., passed peacefully on March 30, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Casper, in 1998 and his granddaughter, Abigale Lee Casper, in 2005.

He was a University of Oregon alumni, a mortgage banker, a Rotarian, and an active volunteer. He was an automobile enthusiast, dog lover, and enjoyed boating.

He is survived by his son, Steve Casper; grandchildren, Kate, Kirk, and Carys of Mathews, and daughter, Donna McNally; grandchildren, Jeffrey, James, Jack, and Finn, of Haverford, Pa.

Services will be held June 20, 2013 at Pt. Vincente Interpretive Center, Rancho Palos Verdes, Cal.
