James Joseph Hamm of Twentynine Palms, Cal., was born in Buffalo, N.Y. Jim was a U.S. Army Paratrooper in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ann Longneff Hamm; son, Col. James J. Hamm III (U.S. Marine Corps-ret.) and his wife Donna Hamm; daughter, Linda Marie Hamm Keeter and her husband Scott F. Keeter; five grandchildren, Lauren Hamm, Carly Hamm, James Keeter, Wesley Keeter and Eric Keeter.  

Jim lived in Gloucester for three years and was a member of the VFW Gloucester Post 8252. His daughter and grandsons still reside in Gloucester.

The services will be private for the family members.
