James Harold Wright of Hopewell, died Jan. 13, 2021.

He graduated from the University of Kentucky and received a Master’s degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He served numerous churches throughout the rural areas of Virginia, including Beech Grove Baptist of Coke.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Beth Wright Seder of Apex, N.C.; son, David M. Wright of Morrisville, N.C., and two brothers, Joe Wright and David C. Wright.

There was a private burial at the Bruington Baptist Church cemetery.
