Jacquelyn “Jackie” Ann Brown Hodges of Gloucester, was born on July 18, 1944 and peacefully departed this life on December 15, 2025 at the age of 81.

Jackie loved flowers and caring for her family who affectionately called her “Gaga.” She is survived by her husband, Saunders Hodges; daughter, Lisa; son-in-law, Ernest; sister, Rosalie; nephew, Harold (Bobbie); grandchildren, Paul “PJ,” Licia, Charlize, and D’Angelo; great-grandchildren, Holden and King, and a host of loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anna Brown; her daughter, Darlene Brown-Wilson, and her son-in-law, Paul Washington.

Viewing will be held Saturday, December 27 at 10 a.m. at Rising Valley Baptist Church, Gloucester followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
