JACK PHILLIP DRESCH

Jack Phillip Dresch, 79, of Gloucester, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. 

He was born in Grand Fork, Illinois, and retired from the U.S. Army in 1986 as a Staff Sergeant after 25 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked in civil service for Fort Eustis, Miller Meats, and A&B Vending. He was a member of the Gloucester Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Gloucester Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Dresch. 

He is survived by his wife, Edith Marian Dresch; daughter, Rochelle Kyle (David), and son, Russell Dresch (Bona); grandchildren, Zachary, Lorraine, and Lily.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, from 12:30-2 p.m., with funeral services starting at 2 o’clock. Entombment will be in Windsor Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester VFW Post, 7439 John Clayton Memorial Highway, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
