Two Dine to Donate events sponsored by the Gwynn’s Island Civic League Foundation will be held on Mathews Main Street next week. The first will be on Thursday, July 30 at Mathews Grill and Deli, and the second will be on Sunday, Aug. 2 at Mi Casa Azteca Mexican Restaurant and Cantina. The hours for both are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Benitez family, owners of both restaurants, will donate a portion of each day’s sales to the foundation to provide scholarships and educational enrichment grants to students and classrooms in Mathews County Public Schools, said a press release. “This is the second year they have opened their doors to us and proudly supported our mission of helping our local students,” said a press release from the foundation.
