Long said the program continues to grow, with the list of interested business and nonprofit partners doubling in size, and several are planning to offer summer internships for rising GHS juniors and seniors.

GCEP will host an Employer Breakfast at 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at Olivia’s on Main for any other local business owners and nonprofits interested in establishing internship opportunities.

For more information or to RSVP for the breakfast, contact Long at kristen.long@gc.k12.va.us. The GCEP is a partnership between Gloucester County Public Schools, the GCPS Educational Foundation and the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce.  ...
