International chef at the helm of Irish hotel’s cuisine

Called the Emerald Isle, Ireland is truly the place where you find the landscape, music, song, wit, hospitality and drama which Hollywood has enshrined in hundreds of films. A sense of its past is found everywhere, from its long range of mountains to the endless great bays to the Atlantic Ocean. One of its lovely towns is Killarney in County Kerry.

In this corner of Ireland you find the past mixed with the present. Beautiful scenery, fine accommodations and delicious foods with Irish coffee and Guinness, the national drink, accompany the experience. Ireland has adapted to international cuisines; but it’s the traditional Irish dishes one looks for.

At the Killarney Park Hotel, Chef Heiko Riebandt combines Irish traditional dishes with international cuisines daily. From the formal dining room to the informal pub, he has been doing so here for three months.
