Gloucester Montessori School will begin offering a program for toddlers ages 16 to 36 months, starting in late August.

Two informational sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 5, for members of the public who may be interested in the program at the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center. The first session will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and the second will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

School staff will be on hand to answer questions and a 20-minute video will be shown that depicts a Montessori toddler learning environment, according to the school’s director Pat Landau. There will also be samples of some of the materials and activities that will be featured in the classroom, she said.

According to Landau, the toddler program will include options for full and half days and also for five or three days per week.
