Mathews High School freshmen interested in applying to the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School and their parents are invited to attend an information session on the program Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mathews High School library.
Lesley Hunley, coordinator of gifted education for Mathews County Public Schools, said she will be going over the application process during the meeting. Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School staff and students will also be on hand to talk about the program and answer questions.
