County offices, district court, J&DR court, libraries, and school board offices in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, July 3 and 4, in celebration of Independence Day. Circuit Court Clerk’s offices in Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex will be closed Tuesday only.

All post offices, waste facilities, and DMV customer service centers in both counties will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 only.

ABC stores will close at 6 p.m. for the holiday.
