More than 80 employers have signed on for an in-person job fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Denbigh Community Center in Newport News.
The “One City Celebrations” Job Fair is open to all jobseekers. The event is hosted by Newport News Councilwoman Sharon Scott in partnership with the City of Newport News, Virginia Career Works—Hampton Roads Region, Hampton Roads Workforce Council and Virginia Employment Commission. One of the employers taking part in the job fair is Gloucester County.
