The Gwynn’s Island Civic League will host its final ice cream social of the summer at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Gwynn’s Island Civic Center, 1996 Old Ferry Road.

All friends of the island and their families are welcome, said a press release, adding, “Join us for an evening of friendship, music and cooling treats.”

Ice cream, toppings, and beverages will be supplied. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted.
