Ice Age exhibit on display at Virginia Living Museum

Currently on display at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News is a museum-curated temporary exhibit called “Exploration Ice Ace: Unearthing Extinctions.”

The exhibit, which is sponsored by corporate partners W.M. Jordan and TowneBank, opened on Feb. 13 and remains on display through April 11.

Exploration Ice Age showcases mammoths, sabretooth cats, mastodons and other animals of the last Ice Age. The exhibit explores and unearths extinctions to consider the biodiversity and future of the planet. Extinctions are not just historical events, they are also happening right now, a VLM release stated.
