IAN RONALD GEORGE

A galaxy far, far away has received a heroic fighter on Aug. 6, 2014. Ian Ronald George of Gloucester, fought a long battle with cancer and has now received his valiant honor.

Ian was an inspector for American Petroleum. He was a fan of Star Wars and enjoyed anything to do with rotary motors. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality, and his generosity and selflessness he gave to his family. He will be missed every day.

Ian is survived by his wife, Samantha Wills George, and daughter Savannah Marie George; his parents, Timothy and Lesley George, Lynda George; sister, Victoria Howard; extended family, Becky Duncan and Billy Canan, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, from 2- 4 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
