Chesapeake Bank recently announced a pair of promotions.

Leigh Houghland was promoted to Senior Lending Officer and Thomas Richardson was named Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer.

Already the Williamsburg Regional Executive and Senior Vice President, Houghland will now also oversee commercial and mortgage lending, as well as loan operations in all regions.

Houghland, a Williamsburg resident who joined Chesapeake Bank in 2015, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Richardson has been serving Lancaster, Northumberland and Middlesex counties from the Kilmarnock office as a commercial and residential lender. He will now oversee the entire bank’s loan portfolio, setting the standards to meet lending objectives, and managing overall loan quality.
